Pastor Jim is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. He has been married to Dorothy for 41 years, they have three daughters, two sons in law and four grandchildren. Jim started his ministry serving the Gowanda Assembly of God in whatever capacity they needed him, mowing lawn, cleaning, leading men’s fellowship, leading a young couple’s Bible Study, being on the worship team and wherever else he was needed. He served as Associate Pastor for 1 year at Gowanda Assembly of God and then he and Dorothy planted the Silver Creek Assembly of God Church and were there for 5 years. Jim and Dorothy have pastored the Mill City Assembly of God for 26 years. He also serves as the Treasurer of the Northeast Section and also was the presbyter for the Penn-Del District of the Assemblies of God in the Northeast Section of PA for 12 years Jim likes to ride his motorcycle and belongs to the Christian Motorcycle Association. He also likes to hunt, target shoot, do woodworking, and “tinker” with equipment. Jim loves to share the Gospel and to see people grow in their walk with the LORD. His life verse has been Proverbs 3:5,6 – “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.”  Jim’s life is a testimony unto God that God uses ordinary people to do great things for His Kingdom.

Pastor Dorothy has been an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God since 2013. She is the proud mother of three beautiful daughters, two wonderful son-in-laws and four precious grandchildren. Dorothy has served the LORD through various ministries throughout her life. Teaching Sunday School, working in the church nursery, using her skills to help in the church office, preaching the Word, leading Youth Group, Ministering to Women through the WORD, chaplaincy at the local hospital and hosting many missionaries and evangelists. Dorothy loves the WORD of God and enjoys writing devotions, she loves spending time with her family, and sitting on a beach!!!Dorothy loves the Lord with all her heart. She is a great encourager to others. Her desire is to please God and to serve Him all the rest of her life.

We at Mill City Assembly of God are called to be SALT & LIGHT as proclaimed by JESUS in Matthew 5:13-16.

We are a Spiritual House of Prayer that believes God’s Word is HIS Truth for Today; which includes Forgiveness, Divine Healing and Restoration.

We are uncompromisingly passionate about worship, applying the Word of God and having an authentic relationship with God and our neighbors.

We will accomplish this through:
Worship – Loving our Creator!
Ministry – Learning God’s Word and applying it to our lives.
Evangelism – Reaching out to others with God’s love.
Fellowship – Sharing with others.
Discipleship – Training others to Follow Christ.

Our Goal: is for everyone in the surrounding area to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
